Every human is born with a particular and specific way of moving each joint in their body. Through time we develop "dysfunction", and start to move in a different pattern causing increased stress on our spine. At Primal Performance we identify these dysfunctions and restore your movements to their proper movements to decrease the strain and symptoms.

Dr. Natasha Maltese
Dr. Natasha Maltese grew up in a small town in northern Ontario, Canada, where she lived a very active and physical lifestyle. The continuous training and participation in sports was followed by the inevitable: injuries. Fortunately for her, her injuries forced her to seek treatment from a chiropractor which sparked her interest in the healthcare profession and immediately knew this would be a profession she'd like to pursue. Her passion for exercise, nutrition and overall physical wellness led her to pursue an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at the University of New Hampshire. Studying within this field further sparked her interest and desire to study the human body, and more specifically the musculoskeletal system. She completed her major with the passion to help others improve their health and physical abilities, with the philosophy of allowing the body to heal naturally without the use of medications or invasive procedures. She continued her aspiration to become a natural healthcare provider by attending New York Chiropractic College where she graduated with highest honors and earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic.
During her four years at NYCC, she expanded her education, improved her manual therapy skills through a number of elective courses, and most importantly, got swept her my feet by her wonderful husband, Dr. Joseph Maltese. Since graduating in 2014, she has practiced as an Associate doctor in two different clinical settings. While her skill set is proficient in full spine manual adjusting techniques, Flexion- Distraction, drop table, and soft tissue therapies which include Cupping and Graston methods she has developed a passion for treating pregnant women, infants and pediatric aged patients over the past 2 years.
Dr. Maltese is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and continues to attend seminars to enhance her specialty in this field. She thoroughly enjoys informing and educating patients on all of their healthcare concerns and questions. It is her continual goal to strive for professional and personal excellence which she demonstrates as a provider at Primal Performance Spine & Sport.
